Privacy policy

How personal data are collected, used and protected on this site.

This site complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and with French law « Informatique et Libertés » as amended. This policy transparently explains what data are collected, in what context, and what your rights are.

§ 1

Data collected

The only personal data collected by this site are those you voluntarily provide via the genealogical contribution form: first name, last name, email address, declared connection to the Porcu name, and the content of your message. No data are collected without your knowledge: no tracking cookie, no advertising pixel, no behavioural analysis.

§ 2

Purposes of processing

Your data are used exclusively to: (1) reply to your message and exchange within the Porcu genealogical research; (2) reconstruct, with your prior explicit agreement, branches of the genealogical tree. No nominative publication is carried out without your explicit written consent.

§ 3

Legal basis

The processing of your data relies on your explicit consent (article 6.1.a of GDPR), collected via the form's checkbox. You may withdraw this consent at any time.

§ 4

Retention period

Your data are kept for a maximum of 3 years from our last exchange. After this period, they are deleted unless you explicitly request to extend the collaboration.

§ 5

Your rights

In accordance with articles 15 to 22 of GDPR, you have the following rights:

Right of access

Obtain a copy of the data concerning you.

Right of rectification

Correct any inaccurate or incomplete information.

Right to erasure

« Right to be forgotten », deletion of your data.

Right to object

Object to any processing.

Right to portability

Retrieve your data in a reusable format.

Right to restriction

Temporarily suspend processing.

Complaints

If you consider, after contacting us, that your rights are not respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL (France) or the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (Italy).

Cookies

This site uses no tracking cookie or third-party statistical analysis tool (Google Analytics, etc.). Only cookies strictly necessary for the technical functioning of LWS hosting may be deposited; they contain no personal data.

Updates

This policy may be updated to reflect legal or technical evolutions. The date of the last update appears below. Any substantial modification will be notified to you by email if you have provided us with your details.
